Giving Hope Through Support
About the Cancer Charity Foundation
OBJECTIVES

The foundation plans to vastly improve the quality of life of cancer sufferers, many of whom are children, and also support those seeking to help them, from their relatives at the bedside to the attendant medical staff. To achieve this end, CCF is developing and supporting existing partnerships with established cancer treatment centres with the addition of developing a new ward dedicated to comprehensive cancer support and hostel accommodation.

The Foundation was formed in February 2008 through a strong nucleus of individuals who have been privately assisting cancer patients and, having seen and experienced first-hand, wanted to make a larger positive impact on the treatment, facilities and problems of cancer.

These individuals have been providing financial assistance to cancer patients and will continue doing so, alongside their voluntary work and commitments with the Cancer Charity Foundation.

The Foundation intends to establish a number of facilities in Kampala, initially, that will be able to provide quality support or service to cancer patients and,to these ends, has already formed very strong bonds with major activists involved with cancer, both in Uganda and internationally.

Mission
To provide financial, medical and spiritual support to cancer patients and to increase general awareness about cancer and the opportunities for individuals to become involved in assisting cancer patients in whatever way they can.
